The RecordEditor is a Data-File editor, similar to File-Aid or Net-Cobols Cobol-Editor. It uses a Record-Layout to format the data in the file in to a human readable format. Because it knows the format of Fields, it can format Binary Fields as normal numbers rather than displaying hex equivalent as most hex editors do. The file can be editted in a Table (Spreadsheet like format) or in a single record format with fields going down the page. The RecordEditor can edit the following formats: * CSV (Comma, Tab, etc delimitered fields) Files for Windows & Unix. * Fixed Field Width data files (both Text and Binary) for Windows, Unix and Z-OS (IBM Mainframe) Operating systems. Orneta Notepad is a basic text editor for Windows Mobile based Smartphone's that you can use to create simple documents. The most common use for Notepad is to view or edit text (.txt) files. Editing Functionality: Selection mode can be used to select words or characters for editing purposes. Cut text to move it to a different location, or application, Copy text to paste it to another location or application, and Paste test that you cave copied from any application to the cursor position. There are also Delete and Undo functions to remove text or changes you have made. You can even insert the current time and date. Append, merge, or insert different files with the Insert File option. You can specify characters or words to search for; the matching text will automatically be highlighted and scrolled into visibility. Search Next functionality makes it easy to find the next occurrence of the search string.
