AcuteSearch is a small freeware tool that will enable search prefixes for Internet Explorer. After setup, you can search Google and other sites of your choice directly from the address bar. For example, if you have a search prefix for Internet Movie Database called "imdb", then you can type "imdb matrix" in the address bar of Internet Explorer to search for "matrix" at Internet Movie Database.
