The Auto Loan Calculator worksheet helps you estimate the amount you will need to finance, based on the sales price, destination charge, state sales tax, registration and other fees, down payment, manufaturer rebate, and value of your trade-in auto. The Payment Calculator worksheet creates an amortization schedule based on the loan amount, interest rate, term (e.g. 3 years), and frequency of payments (e.g. monthly). Use the spreadsheet to see how extra payments may help you reduce the total interest paid and pay off your loan earlier.
