The update fixes: bug where the drive could not initialize a small capacity DVD disc; bug where the drive could not boot from a bootable DVD disc; bug that could cause the PC to reboot when the drive played certain DVD-Audio discs; bug where the drive could not initialize an unfinalized DVD-RW disc written in VR mode. Increased the read speed for DVD-Video discs by pressing the eject switch for 3 seconds. CD-DA digital playback limited to 4X to reduce noise of high speed disc rotation.
