	This is a platform game based on the characters and settings from the movie (which, in turn, is based on the famous 1960's television series). The game takes place towards the end of the movie: the Addams Family has been evicted from their home by a court order issued by a backstabbing attorney (there's one for the books), Tully Alford. Even worse, the other Addamses: Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Granny and Lurch have gone missing. As Gomez, you must tour the Addams mansion in search of your lost family, battling out mysterious monsters and evading traps, and eventually face your nemesis, Tully. An evil lawyer has thrown the Addams family out of their home and is planning to take their fortune. However, the family (except for the depressed Gomez) returns to the home to reason with the lawyer. When Gomez snaps out of his funk and finally arrives, his family is missing. You take control of the Addams' patriarch as he searches the house for his family and tries to save their fortune. He will have to run and jump through levels filled with enemies that will do whatever it takes to see that Gomez doesn't find his family. But thanks to his trusty bow and some arrows, disposing of any interference is a breeze. There are also several power-ups available that will help Gomez, including extra health and free lives. 	The Addams family finds itself in a wacky situation once again, this time involving the newest member of the family, Baby Pubert. Following the same plot as the movie, this game puts you in the role of Uncle Fester as you try to rescue Pubert from his kidnapper – AKA his former nanny! Throughout this action/RPG, you'll come across familiar characters like Morticia, Gomez, and Lurch as you search for clues and prepare yourself for battle. There are 42 levels to challenge your skills, but you'll have plenty of weapons at your disposal to help your cause: spider eyes, headless teddy bears, and potions. You can pick up other weapons, though – like rocks, marbles, seeds, and a bowling ball – and throughout the game, Granny will bake you cookies with mysterious and helpful powers. 	You start of with a plane, which has infinite bullets and dodge enemy fire while shooting them down. You have your normal weapons which you can upgrade by grabbing power ups. The variety of power ups are the same; missles, turrets, extra guns and even guns which fire behind you. Nothing too fancy but adequate enough. There are two problems with this, one you can not power up the “extra's” like the rockets, you can only change them by grabbing a different power up and two, to change your power up type you have collect a different one on screen. This is annoying when you just know you need a backward firing gun power up but can't get it because there aren't any “power-up” ships around. The levels all are of decent length and are reasonably challenging, consisting of a nice mix of small and weak foes, larger and more deadly ships and pods that release power-ups. Using your pulse rifle, grenade launcher, and blowtorch, you must work your way through six levels of intense side-scrolling action. With your trusty motion tracker, you'll be warned of other life forms as they draw near, the only question is, is it a friend or a foe? As you move through the complex you'll have to free the cocooned prisoners that the aliens have designated as their next meal, while making sure you don't become a victim yourself. The aliens are quick and relentless, but you're humanity's only hope in this adrenaline-pumping masterpiece. You play as Ripley. You must find and free all the captives hidden around the levels while avoiding the nasty Alien and before the time runs out and aliens burst out. You'll have three weapons at your disposal in your effort to rid the colony of aliens: a pulse rifle, a flame-thrower, and a grenade launcher. A motion tracker will help warn you of impending doom as you make your way through the maze-like air shafts and gloomy cell blocks. Access various computer terminals to receive level blueprints and select your assignments, which range from sealing off doors to rescuing cocooned prisoners. 	The year is 1972. The place is south Vietnam. Captain "Windbreak" Addis' plane has been shot down by the Vietcong. The captain ejected at the last second and is now in the thick of the jungle. Armed with a fifty-caliber machine gun and hand grenades, he must make it to the rendezvous sector. You must guide Captain Addis through five levels of constant gunfire from irate villagers and communist troops (including flame and bazooka squads). Helicopters, tanks and fighter jets will also hunt you down. To defend yourself, you must avoid making contact with enemies and their gunfire while blasting away as many villagers, vehicles and soldiers as you can. 	Demolition Man is a multiplatform, run and gun action game based on the film of the same name, that takes the main character, John Spartan as he attempts to find and defeat his arch-nemesis, Simon Phoenix, who is the final boss of the game. Two different views are used within the game. Some stages are platform game type in side view, and include jumping and climbing, while other stages take an overhead Top-down shooter view; in all stages the player character can fire in eight directions. Stages are filled with many enemies, mostly gunmen, enemy characters and the player character can take a number of hits before dying; power ups can be found around the stages that increase the characters health or ammunition. The game gives the player limited continues and very few lives. There is only one stage of action in the year 1996 then it hops directly to the year 2032, and waters down the plot of the movie. This emasculation of the movie eliminates all of the comedic elements and turns the game into a straight action game with only minor witty comments like "avoid fatty foods" (as seen in the Super NES version of the game).
