Emsa Disk Check is a dual-purpose utility, for disk checking (prescan and full disk reading) and also benchmarking. What it does, is scanning/reading the entire contents of a disk (CD, DVD or hard drive; or even floppy) and show any read errors that may appear, but also show drive speed information, progress statistics etc. It was designed with simplicity in mind, but usefulness for the user. You can use it to do a full check of the surface of any disks, for example if you have just scratched a disk and want to see if it is still readable, or if you want to check all your cd library for time or usage related faults. You can also use it for drive benchmarking, easily comparing speeds through 'X' speed multiplier factor, in real conditions. You can also scan hard drives or even floppies - and get real condition performance information accordingly with drive performance but also with the way data is stored on it, which obviously impacts on overall performance. Make sur you clean the CD or DVD before doing tests, to remove dirt and ensure tests are accurate. Freeware.

EMSA EZ Encryption Tool is a simple encryption program for Windows. This program uses the Blowfish algorithm to encrypt files or text chunks. This algorithm is a strong encryption algorithm using a private key, therefore keeping your data safe from prying eyes. In order to encrypt files, the user must click on the 'Encrypt File' button which will select the input plain file and the path to save the encrypted output file. To decrypt files, the user must click on the 'Decrypt File' button which will select the input ecncrypted file and the path to save the decrypted output file. To encrypt text, the input text should be copied into the top textbox, then using the 'Encrypt & Encode Text' button the text will be encrypted. This procedure also encodes the resulting text using the standard Base64 encoding, because the result of encryption is not text but binary data and therefore it cannot be copied safely into documents, and the Base64 encoding ensures that all binary data is converted into a text format which can be copied into other documents. The program also provides standard Base64 encoding and decoding as a separate function. This program is Freeware.

Emsa HTML Tag Remover is a software utility that allows removing html tags from a html file with some extra degree of control on how the html is removed and whitespace removal as well. It provides several options to remove different types of data from the html page. It allows whitespace removal, making the resulting text output condensed as necessary. Finally, it works both in interactive mode, as well as in command line mode, which can be useful for users wanting to use this functionality from other programs or batch files. When the program is ran for the first time, all options are checked by default. This is the most advanced removal and the result will actually be only one line of text with no carriage returns. We recommend the user to take the time and play with it in order to see the effect of each particular setting, until the output becomes as the user wants it. Users perform the html removal by selecting an input html file, selecting or typing an output file (usually as text file) and then clicking on 'remove html' button. Please also view the command line mode below. Some advanced functions: - Remove all tags strips all remaining html data comprised between < and > characters. - Generate foreign & special characters. This is a function that allows rendering foreign and special html sequences into their corresponding resulting character. for example the '£' sequence will be rendered as the corresponding '£' pound character; the '>' sequence will be rendered as the corresponding '>' character; and so on. - Remove spaces will trim all unnecesary spaces from the output; therefore between two words there will always be one space max. - Remove blank lines will cut out all unneded carriage returns and line feeds, in such a way that all lines having some text will be aligned one after another with no blank lines in between. Emsa Port Blocker is a TCP blocking utility. What it does, is blocking unwanted tcp access from/to your computer.It is not a firewall, but up to some extent it could be regarded as a similar tool. Its purpose is to prohibit TCP access on certain ports and ip addresses. IT can also be used as a TCP monitor because it shows TCP connections currently active on the machine. This program works two ways. It can be configured to block access to certain local ports, but it can also prohibit access to specified remote ports as well. For example, you may try adding the port '80' to remote blocked ports. You'll immediately notice that you have disabled your browser's capability from accessing the www. You can use this program to block unauthorized access to certain ports on your computer, for example network ports like TCP 135 or 139 and so on. You can also use the configuration to permit connections between local IP's, or block even those as desired. The program comes with a function allowing to detect local ip's and adding them to the 'allowed' IP list. Functions: - When first started up, the program shows a list of TCP connections on your machine.If you don't see anything there, try opening browser and visit some site and you'll see them. - By unchecking the 'Show only connected' checkbox the program will also show tcp connections in other states, like LISTENING and so on. - The left hand list is versatile and its meaning depends on the last button clicked - check the label above to see what the list is currently displaying. - To add items to a list, type into the textbox below and click on add. Make sure you enter valid data (valid ip addresses/ valid port numbers).To delete one item, select it in the list and click on 'Delete'. - To view Allowed IP Addresses, click on the corresponding button. By default, here you will see your local IP address (127.0.0.1). You may want to add all your local IP addresses to the allowed list. This program is Freeware.

Emsa DLL Register Tool is a multipurpose DLL information & registration tool for Windows. We made this program because we could not find other tools of this type to be comprehensive enough. This program provides extensive information about system files and other binary files, like exe, dll, and ocx files for example. It also provides ActiveX information for ActiveX components like .ocx files and ActiveX exe or ActiveX dll files. Using this tool, you may register/unregister ActiveX dll/ocx/exe files, and you may also compare two ActiveX files having identical filenames. This program also provides a very handy function, which can be used to easily register and unregister ActiveX files - Shell extensions. If shell extensions are enabled (look for it in the Options and Help tab), user may right click on any dll or ocx file and select an option from the context menu (register/unregister) to perform the corresponding action. Another neat feature of the same Shell extensions capability, is the ability to generate an ActiveX report on a folder. To do this, first of all make sure that Shell extensions are enabled within the program, then close it (Shell extensions do work even if the program is closed). Then, you may select a folder at any time, right click on it and from the drop down menu select ActiveX Report. This will scan the folder for ActiveX files, and a text file (output.txt) containing the report will be generated in the same folder, and it will also be opened automatically for viewing. Emsa Save My Work is a quite simple but useful typed data recovery program. It works on a principle similar to usual key loggers but in a different fashion and purpose. Instead of spying on other people keystrokes, this program is designed to be fully visible and used by the actual computer owner and record the keystrokes typed into the computer, in order to provide a backup of all this typed data, should any problem occur. The program is helpful because it saves all your typed data while you work. How many times you have lost your work because of power failure, blue screens, computer accidental reset, internet failure, user mistake or kids hitting the computer cables and any such unexpected events? You may have written a complicated document or email working for a lot of hours and then lost it completely.... Well - lost no more! Our program can help you in all such cases, you just need to keep it running in system tray while doing your day by day work at computer. Once it is started, the program runs in systray and records your keystrokes as you type in any documents. You may click on the systray icon at anytime to show the main window and see your typed data. Should any problem occur with your document, you can open the program's main window and copy all the text from within the main text log box. Copy the typed data from this window inside your document, do a bit of reformatting as needed and your work is saved! If your computer crashes, no problem - your data is still available because it is logged on disk. Go into the folder where you installed the program (usually something like c:Program FilesSaveMyWork) and look in the Logs subfolder.
