	DShutdown (Dimio's Shutdown) is a stand-alone program that let you schedule the shutdown of a local or remote PC. He supports, beyond classical shutdown options, also a series of particular options relating pure shutdown (as the ForceAfterWait option, that causes a forced, but clear, shutdown), and relating monitor functions (as the option to shutdown a PC when an application terminate, useful at the end of compression of several files, or as the option to shutdown a PC when Internet traffic reduces itself under a particular value for a given amount of time, useful to shutdown a PC at the end of a download). Is also possible to intercept a shutdown request caused by the user (or by another software) and to execute the shutdown request with selected options in DShutdown (this can be useful, for example, to shutdown all LAN's PCs at the shutdown of a server). 	DSpeech is a TTS (Text To Speech) program with functionality of ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) integrated. It is able to to read aloud the written text and choose the sentences to be pronounced upon the vocal answers of the user. It is specifically designed to provide quickly and directly the functions of better practical usefulness that are requested to this kind of programs. In the meantime the invasivity and the spent of resources are minimal. (DSpeech does not install itself, is very light, it starts in a second and doesn't write anything on the register). The capital features of DSpeech are: 1. It allows to save the output as a Wav or Mp3 file. 2. It allows to select quickly different voices and to combine them between themselves, in order to create dialogues between some voices. 3. It integrates a vocal recognition system that, through a simple script language, allows to create interactive dialogues with the user. 4. It allows to configure the voices in an independent way. 5. Thanks to apposite TAGs, it allows to change dinamically the features of the voices during the reproduction (speed, volume and frequency), to insert pauses, to emphasize some words or to spell. 6. It allows to capture and reproduce the content of the ClipBoard. 7. It's compatible with all modern vocal engines SAPI 5 compliant. On Windows XP you don't have need to install anything. On Windows NT4/2000 you must install MS-SAPI, you can download them from site .Similarly, on NT4/2000, if you want use the Speech Recognition features, you must install the MS-Recognition Engine too, DSpeech uses the vocal engines installed on system, by default Windows XP has only Microsoft SAM. 	DSynchronize is a stand-alone utility that let you periodically synchronize two or more folders in a LAN (also working with UDF-CD-DVD, USB Keys etc.) Is also possible to specify the time and the day on which the sync have to run, and to create some filters. 	HDHacker is a stand-alone micro-util that saves, visualizes, restores the MBR (from a physical drive), the BootSector (from a logical drive) or any sector from a disk too. It can be used, for example, to save and restore a particular boot manager (as LILO, for example) in case of a Windows new setup (that, obviously, overwrites it). An MBR and BootSector backup can also be useful for simple precautionary purposes too, in fact sometimes viruses or other SO (Linux) setup could overwrite them and/or alter them, so it is impossible to start up previous SO and/or have access to datas stored on the disk.
