This is to announce the availablity of NEUROLOGY TUTOR 1.0 downloadable version. This is a new and unique neurology tutoring software. Unlike conventional Neurology textbooks which take a long and rambling (and oftentimes leading nowhere) approach to clinical problems, this remarkable software takes a different approach. Every single (almost) clinical scenario that you are ever likely to run into in a neurology clinic is addressed in a systematic fashion. Each section in NEUROLOGY TUTOR 1.0 starts with the presenting symptom (for example, eye blinking or blepharospasm) and looks at the localization, the differential diagnosis, the appropriate investigations and management. It takes a very thorough and practical approach to management. We do not subscribe to the outdated view "We Neurologists don't treat diseases, we admire them" . NEUROLOGY TUTOR 1.0 was originally designed for the oral part of the Neurology Boards. The oral part of the neurology boards as we all know so well, is a 'no-BS zone' . Unfortunately most books do not follow this no-BS rule. If by some magic trick we could turn the average neurology 'text-book' into a human, and send him to the neurology boards part-II, you can bet your last dollar that he will flunk the test.
