I didn’t have any good tool that will help me with the little things. I hate going to command prompt and run programs like, ping, tracert, net stat, etc. While administrating couple of small networks, I found out that it will be much more easier to keep all of the clients well updated by enabling the option of controlling them remotely. Of course there are a lot of software out there that can remotely control a client but I wanted the process to be transparent to the client side. Installing client side software was out of the question, I don't like to walk to each and every computer on the network and installing a "listening" software manually.
