If you have a domain name, you can use one of the numerous Whois tools to determine its owner. Whois provides complete information about the owner of any domain name, up to the level of mailing addresses and telephone numbers. But what if you donâ€™t have a domain name? What if all you have is a mere IP address? Or what if you donâ€™t need information about the domain name, but are much more interested in who owns the Web server where itâ€™s hosted? Quite often it is still possible to determine the owner, or, rather, the assignee, of an IP address. IP addresses in North America are assigned by ARIN, an independent, nonprofit corporation that provides IP registration. It is possible to unveil details about the organization that uses a particular IP address, or, to be precise, a block of IP addresses. There are no tools that come with Windows which can look up information about an IP address. Instead, you can visit ARIN database, learn about its query syntax, and fire up search on an IP address. If the address does not belong to the North American block, you will quite often see only the basic information specifying the country and organization responsible for assigning IP addresses there. To discover owner information of your original IP address, you then will have to visit a whois server of that organization and repeat the whole process. While thereâ€™s nothing wrong in doing all these queries, it takes an awful lot of time. We at Soft Institute wrapped the same thing into a small and package. Paessler Site Inspector License: Freeware

Paessler Site Inspector is a web browser that combines the two most frequently used browser engines (Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Gecko) into one program. Its advanced analysis features make it the perfect companion for webmasters and web developers. With Site Inspector's internal browser, users can switch between the two browser engines with just one mouse click, for example to compare the rendering of a page in both browsers. The sophisticated analysis functions, which also integrate into Internet Explorer and Firefox, make analyzing and debugging web sites easy. The analysis features can be accessed from within the Analyzing Browser as well, with convenient toolbars that Site Inspector adds to Internet Explorer and the Mozilla Firefox browser. Whenever you access a web page using Internet Explorer, Firefox or Site Inspector's browser, you will find a wealth of analysis functions in the toolbars and menus. For example: For any given URL, users can access lists of the images, forms, links, frames, meta tags or the scripts of a web page as well as the HTML source and HTTP headers. Using the Highlight function, users can mark any HTML tag with a colored border inside the rendered web page (e.g., to show all TD tags in a page). An invaluable tool for web designers. A pixel grid as well as guide lines can be shown applied to a web page. All image tags and link URLs can be shown from within a web page. You can copy the page URL, page title, page source, list of URLs and even the page as a bitmap to the clipboard.
