	This software allows to receive data sent by external devices as a weather station, a UPS, a webcam, and to look up these data remotely. This application also allows to define and launch emergency processes when necessary, and this according to user-defined alarm thresholds (temperature, humidity, barometry, wind speed) or in the event of a power failure (if a UPS is connected to the software). This program communicates with an Oregon weather station connected to the computer via its USB port. It also communicates with an I/O USB card from Velleman (VM110) and with a UPS via its USB port or RS-232 serial port in order to detect power failures. The software can also use pictures taken by one or several webcams in order to allow visual monitoring of processes or places, for example. None of these devices are mandatory, the user connects the ones he/she needs within his/her own configuration. The Oregon weather station can be used in order to monitor the temperature and humidity of a computer room, for example, or of several rooms (up to 10 sensors can be added). In this case, the software will use the collected data as environmental data, while, if the user adds the Oregon anemometer to its configuration in order to measure the wind speed, all the data sent by the Oregon station will be used as real weather data. Moreover, the data are registered both 'real-time' and under the form of averages, minimas and maximas, this continuously, day by day, in order to allow later reuse. The user therefore should be sure of the files, folders .etc. he/she wants to shred.There are many safeguards built into the Zilla Data Nuker program to warn the user.Windows allocates clusters for new files (and extending existing files) from one end of the disk and moving towards the other end. Accordingly, the user for example if deleting files near the end of the disk, it might be very long before those clusters get used again.Therefore, shredding a disk's free space ensures that any deleted data stored in unallocated clusters will be completely shredded, and all the bits and pieces of left over data from deleted files will be destroyed.Generally speaking Windows stores files using two steps:A directory entry and A series of one or more clusters on a disk.When the user deletes a file using windows the file's data doesn't actually get deleted from disk. Windows simply marks the file's clusters as available for reuse, then marks that file's directory entry as deleted (from the directories available) by replacing the first character of the file's name with a special character. Now if those clusters don't get reused for another file, they are vulnerable and can be retrieved by those who know where and how to look for it.Adding one byte to the directory that was deleted will allow the retrieve of the entire file that has been deleted. This is used in most of the "Unerase" utilities functions. Zilla Data Nuker makes it virtually impossible to retrieve data from a file because it literally overwrites the file's data clusters before deleting the file. A "quick" shred overwrites the file once, filling its data clusters with zeroes. 	GSplit is a free original file splitter that lets you split your large files (like compressed archives, multimedia, song, music, movie, backup, Zip, picture, log, large text and document files...) into a set of smaller files called pieces. These pieces are easier to copy or backup to floppies, CD, DVD, USB or any disk; to send by email or upload with file hosting services (forget size restrictions!); to share with friends, colleagues or to distribute to other users through networks and the Internet. In addition to the features of other standard file splitters, GSplit can: - create two types of pieces: disk spanned and blocked (specific size).
