There are no limits on the password length (32768 digits) , or the password_file. The password_file can be any file present on your computer. As an one way Hash is generated, if you forget the password or lose the password_file it is impossible to recover the original file. So, you must NOT forget the password or delete/lose the password_file, or you will not be able to decrypt the encrypted file.
