	Admit One lets you enable and disable all Windows password prompts with just one mouse click - You won't be bothered by passwords while at home, and you'll always be prompted to prevent unauthorized use when on the go. Great for desktop PC's as well, where privacy and security are needed. By default Windows asks for your password each time Windows starts up, the computer returns from standby or hibernation, or when screen saver mode is deactivated. This is your first line of defense to prevent outsiders from using your computer if it's left unattended. All the passwords prompts are best left enabled on a laptop computer, for example, when it may be left in a car, hotel room, etc. However, for many users, such strict security is not always required; e.g. if the computer is always at home, no unauthorized users can access it, and constant password prompting is inconvenient and irritating. Of course access across a network will always require a password, so network security is not affected. Some laptop users actually use their computer in a physically secure environment most of the time, and travel with their laptop only occasionally. While all passwords prompts can be enabled and disabled using normal Windows configuration dialogs, they are buried deep inside control panel and other places, requiring many mouse clicks to get to them. Most users don't remember where and how to change them, and it is annoying at best. Therefore most users are either using their computers with little or no security, or are constantly annoyed by password prompts when such strong security is not warranted. 	NameSaver is based on the EuroSaver code. Instead of the new currency of the EC it displays names or other bits of text waving over your desktop. It was made as a present for a group of children, with their names as default. (I have changed that default list.) Instead of names you can also enter other types of text, like quotes or short jokes. Options: -- Names -- you can edit the list of names. Put each name on a separate line. If you use other kinds of text keep in mind the text will be displayed line by line so if, for instance, you want to use quotes you'll have to put each quote on one single line. -- Number -- indicates the number of names that will be shown at the same time. -- Subscript -- is a single line of text that will bedisplayed at the bottom of the screen. -- Background -- you can choose to have your desktop as background or hide it and have the saver run against a black background or a blue sky. You can also use an image of your choice. -- Shadow -- adds a dropshadow to the names (doesn't work with a black background). -- Highlight -- gives the names their own shadow and highlight. -- Font -- pick a font and font style. -- Colour -- you can choose to have all text in one colour of your choice or have the program pick random colours. 	Cognitive description This program encapsulates the idea of flashcard-based testing. User is given a capability to design completely arbitrary questions and answers using both ASCII text and image files. The left side of the screen is the front side of the card and the right side is the posterior part. Both parts are visible during design phase but the answer part is invisible why in the testing phase. During each test, user looks at the left side of the question, recalls the answer, presses the check button and marks himself as correct or incorrect. Thus the feedback is immediate. The program is not designed to simulate multiple-choice questionnaire where user can review their performance on every question at the end of the test. Technical description Images must be located in a special directory automatically created for every deck file. Program does automatic backup of current deck on the drive in backup file. Program also keeps track of ten most recently accessed flashcard deck files in a list that is accessible through File menu. Each card can be marked during design and testing phase if the user intends to work on it later. Each flashcard is automatically assigned a random integer number from 0 to 1E5. Each flashcard deck has an associated notes memo that gets serialized with the deck. This memo may be used to keep suggestions for future work on the deck. During the running phase, one can open a memo to use as a scrap paper for every question. Every deck of flashcard contains fields that keep track of how many times user was tested on this card and how many times the card was answered correctly. 	Using EagleEyeOS One and One Plus, the user can determine access rights to the generally used communication channels, e.g. Floppy, CD, DVD, InfraRed, COM, LPT, USB, Bluetooth, Wireless, etc. The most significant feature is that different devices and storages can be handled irrespectively of their momentary availability. E.g., Bluetooth communication on a certain host can be blocked even if the host is not connected to a Bluetooth device at that moment. The Bluetooth device connected later on will not function on the host. The user can assign access rights to portable devices, which are detected by the operating system as file systems and-or drives, e.g. Pen-Drive, camera or the mobile phone memory. It controls the connected storages in runtime, therefore it handles devices independently of producers and types. A major feature is that events made onto storages are logged; and a Read- Only rule can be used too. If a device gets disconnected after shutdown of the computer, the computer will store alerts and send them to specified e-mail addresses at the next startup. It enables the setting of extended protection functions, the property panel can be password protected, running and stopping of the program can be disabled, the automatic starting can be enabled. In silent mode the user cannot see the program. EagleEyeOS One will send alerts via e-mail about newly connected or disconnected devices, as well as file operations upon disconnect. The extended functions are available in One Plus only. It controls the processes at the kernel level, so it is independent of the applications running at the user levels. WARNING!
