Roleplaying City Map Generator
License: Freeware
| |
Roleplaying gamemasters know how time-consuming the generation of city maps can be. The Roleplaying City Map Generator does this job comfortably in few minutes requiring only a couple of mouseclicks for generating and printing realistic maps of e. g. villages, medieval towns, or big cities. You define the values of various city-parameters, either manually or via pre-defined or own templates. These parameters describe the appearance of buildings, streets, parks, places, rivers, trees, bridges, and the city wall, and hereby define the individual character of a specific settlement such as villages, small towns, or big cities. Based on these parameters and a certain amount of randomness, the Roleplaying City Map Generator creates a city allowing the user to watch the growth of the settlement live in the preview window. If you don't like the result: Just change the values or keep them constant, and start the city map generation again and again, until the finished settlement meets your demand for e. g. fantasy, cthulhu, medieval, or science fiction role playing. The parameter set as well as the finished city map can be saved for later use. The printing options for the finished city maps base on the typical requirements of roleplaying gamemasters: Single sheet print, maxtrix print, or magnified section print allow maps for each roleplaying situation in your campaign. New in version 5.00: Export the citymap as image file(s)! Additionally, you have the option to consecutively label buildings, streets, squares, and parks. The Roleplaying City Map Generator is true freeware and 100% functional without any time limit.

Medieval CUE Splitter
License: Freeware
| |
CUE Splitter is a freeware tool that split a single big audio track, mostly an album or a compilation, into the relative individual audio tracks, using informations contained in the associated "CUE" file. Sometimes you can find a big compressed audio file (for example MP3, APE, FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, etc...) equipped with a small "CUE" text file that contain informations about tracks title, artist and length. Usually these couple of files are generated by programs like EAC (Exact Audio Copy), CDRWin, BPM Studio, GoldWave or similar. With CUE Splitter you can split audio track files without burning to CDR or decode/re-encode any audio data! Moreover audio files are automatically named using a user-defined "file mask" string, it's tags are filled with information extracted from "CUE" file and, optionally, an M3U playlist file can be generated (option enabled by default). If you like this software and you wish contribute, feel free to make us a PayPal DONATION: take a look at the about form...

Dark Ages II: Engel
License: Freeware
| |
Dark Ages II is the story of three thieves struggling to survive in a world fighting against the descent into chaos. In short, this is the world of Engel over 500 years after setting of the first game. It has been drastically transformed by magical energies that have destroyed central authority. All that remains are small city-states and keeps run by feudal lords in a struggle to unite the fragmented countryside. Some have good intentions, others have different intentions. Within this power-struggle guilds have formed for the protection of citizens who share certain beliefs. Some are to protect honor, some to pursue knowledge. However, some are for power and profit. Chief among these is The Rein, a fanatic group that actively hunts and kills mages under the false beliefs they are the cause of the chaos in the land.
The three main characters are Syven, Xatar, and Povin. They are three apprentices to the Thieves' Guild, a guild that tries to maintain neutrality in the struggles of Engel, preferring to offer its services to the higgest bidder. Although all three characters are thieves, only Syven is a natural thief. Guild membership is determined by shared ideals, not profession. As such, the guild employs warriors, such as Xatar, and mages, such as Povin.
You begin playing the game during a routine assignment for the three apprentices. However, things go awry, and what should be routine becomes a mystery that must be solved to survive.
