	PopMonger is a free but elegant tool to help you with mailing list management. This very small program is easy to set up with any POP3, IMAP, or Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox, and runs in the background. It can check your mailbox and parse through messages, looking for delivery failures, subscribe requests, and unsubscribe requests. When PopMonger finds a matching message, it can add the sender's address to a list along with a date and a label indicating why the email was added for auditing purposes. You can optionally mark a message for deletion after processing, and leave unmatched email in your mailbox to check personally. As part of the free Mach5 Mailer suite, it can reply to the message with text from a file or redirect the message to another mailbox. With a PopMonger Gold license, it can also parse the incoming email for fields you define, and provide complete information about the inbound message to your VBScript, JScript, or PHP program, giving you complete database integration with inbound email. 	Emsa Port Blocker is a TCP blocking utility. What it does, is blocking unwanted tcp access from/to your computer.It is not a firewall, but up to some extent it could be regarded as a similar tool. Its purpose is to prohibit TCP access on certain ports and ip addresses. IT can also be used as a TCP monitor because it shows TCP connections currently active on the machine. This program works two ways. It can be configured to block access to certain local ports, but it can also prohibit access to specified remote ports as well. For example, you may try adding the port '80' to remote blocked ports. You'll immediately notice that you have disabled your browser's capability from accessing the www. You can use this program to block unauthorized access to certain ports on your computer, for example network ports like TCP 135 or 139 and so on. You can also use the configuration to permit connections between local IP's, or block even those as desired. The program comes with a function allowing to detect local ip's and adding them to the 'allowed' IP list. Functions: - When first started up, the program shows a list of TCP connections on your machine.If you don't see anything there, try opening browser and visit some site and you'll see them. - By unchecking the 'Show only connected' checkbox the program will also show tcp connections in other states, like LISTENING and so on. - The left hand list is versatile and its meaning depends on the last button clicked - check the label above to see what the list is currently displaying. - To add items to a list, type into the textbox below and click on add. Make sure you enter valid data (valid ip addresses/ valid port numbers).To delete one item, select it in the list and click on 'Delete'. - To view Allowed IP Addresses, click on the corresponding button. 	BankStep is a software emulation of hardware bank sequencers found in the big analog synthesizers, that produce control for the sound but not the sound itself. Instead of analog control voltages BankStep produces MIDI (and can make standard MIDI music files). Otherwise, BankStep functionally emulates a big $50,000 bank of hardware sequencers and supporting modules just as it might sit on top of a big Moog analog synthesizer - or your soft synth, MIDI module or sound card. The main module in BankStep is the Bank module, which is a 3 or 4 bank knob sequencer of any number of columns up to 48. The Bank module is a "smart" module, with the ability to set sequence start and end points, and to automatically switch direction when the end points are reversed. There are no dangling patchchords in BankStep. Instead, module inputs (the red and blue buttons) connect to outputs by selecting them from a popup menu of all available outputs. When an input is connected to an output, the input button label indicates the connection. Like the hardware sequencers it emulates, BankStep is modular in concept but it is not modular in the sense that you create modules as part of the composing process, as you would with our other MIDI composing software, SoftStep and ArtWonk. While you are free to create your own module Layouts, this should not be part of your composing process, just as specifying the modules of a hardware modular synthesizer is separate from the use of the modules in creating the music. This is less flexible than SoftStep or ArtWonk, but it is often easier to get started with; and because you likely will use the same layout over and over, you become familiar with it. With BankStep, you are not creating an algorithmic music composition so much as you are creating music with a stack of sequencers, just as you would if you had a stack of hardware sequencers.
