Malone's paper funds an expedition to rescue Maple White, who has been marooned at the top of a high plateau. Joined by renowned hunter John Roxton, and others, the group goes to South America, where they do indeed find a plateau inhabited by pre-historic creatures, one of which they even manage to bring back to London with them. 	Demolition Man is a multiplatform, run and gun action game based on the film of the same name, that takes the main character, John Spartan as he attempts to find and defeat his arch-nemesis, Simon Phoenix, who is the final boss of the game. Two different views are used within the game. Some stages are platform game type in side view, and include jumping and climbing, while other stages take an overhead Top-down shooter view; in all stages the player character can fire in eight directions. Stages are filled with many enemies, mostly gunmen, enemy characters and the player character can take a number of hits before dying; power ups can be found around the stages that increase the characters health or ammunition. The game gives the player limited continues and very few lives. There is only one stage of action in the year 1996 then it hops directly to the year 2032, and waters down the plot of the movie. This emasculation of the movie eliminates all of the comedic elements and turns the game into a straight action game with only minor witty comments like "avoid fatty foods" (as seen in the Super NES version of the game). 	Bio2Midi converts the text of a DNA or protein sequence to a MIDI file, which you may immediately audition, or import into any MIDI sequencer for further compositional processing. Choose to listen to the sequences as 4-note DNA bases, or as 20-note protein amino acids, or both at once. You can select specific data sections to be translated, called exons and introns, and mark areas of interest to be played in a different instrument. In order to provide a fast, easy sketchpad for converting and listening to the sequences Bio2MIDI translations are kept simple, giving only direct pitch translation of the DNA and protein sequences. For more detailed composing, any files you edit with Bio2MIDI can be read by our BioEditor and sequenced by our more powerful composing programs, ArtWonk and MusicWonk. 	BankStep  License: Freeware
	BankStep is a software emulation of hardware bank sequencers found in the big analog synthesizers, that produce control for the sound but not the sound itself. Instead of analog control voltages BankStep produces MIDI (and can make standard MIDI music files). Otherwise, BankStep functionally emulates a big $50,000 bank of hardware sequencers and supporting modules just as it might sit on top of a big Moog analog synthesizer - or your soft synth, MIDI module or sound card. The main module in BankStep is the Bank module, which is a 3 or 4 bank knob sequencer of any number of columns up to 48. The Bank module is a "smart" module, with the ability to set sequence start and end points, and to automatically switch direction when the end points are reversed. There are no dangling patchchords in BankStep. Instead, module inputs (the red and blue buttons) connect to outputs by selecting them from a popup menu of all available outputs. When an input is connected to an output, the input button label indicates the connection. Like the hardware sequencers it emulates, BankStep is modular in concept but it is not modular in the sense that you create modules as part of the composing process, as you would with our other MIDI composing software, SoftStep and ArtWonk. While you are free to create your own module Layouts, this should not be part of your composing process, just as specifying the modules of a hardware modular synthesizer is separate from the use of the modules in creating the music. This is less flexible than SoftStep or ArtWonk, but it is often easier to get started with; and because you likely will use the same layout over and over, you become familiar with it. With BankStep, you are not creating an algorithmic music composition so much as you are creating music with a stack of sequencers, just as you would if you had a stack of hardware sequencers.
