Photo Gadget Viewer is a free to use program for Windows made for browsing through digital photos. It is fast in opening a photo file and offers standard keyboard shortcuts to look at other photos available in the same folder. Mouse wheel works for navigation, too. Thumbnails view shows all photos in the current folder and to get to a single-photo full screen view simply double click on it. Auto-rotate option based on EXIF is enabled by default. If you open a selection of several photos the program will browse only through that selection. Photo Gadget Viewer can sort photo files by name, date or size and includes an option to open a photo with an external program. You can use Save As option to make a copy of a photo or convert it to a different file format. In the settings dialog you can select photo file extensions that you want to be associated with the program so that it opens those files directly on double click. First step is to correlate an ODBC structure with an Alias. Create a new alias, select the Database Drive Name, enter a name of the Alias in place of the default name and select the path to the ODBC database. If your tables are not local, you may need to define access to your tables via the operating system ODBC Administrator. Start the program and select the alias from the dropdown list and the tables will be displayed. The number of fields and Record Count or number of records in the table is displayed in the upper right. The lower display describes the database, alias and field information. Right click on the table information to save to a file. Options in the Maintenance menu provides the ability to do a table dump to an ASCII file and to reload the data what was dumped. This is useful when table data is read, exported, modified and deleted during testing of custom processing. When reloading data into a table the Alias and Table name must match. If the table that is selected has a memo field, a memo display will appear between the records and table information and the data in the memo field is displayed when the memo field is selected.

When you resize an image you change the number of pixels. In computer world this is how it is done - there is no inches or centimetres. But when you print out an image the printer uses a resolution that is expressed in DPI (dots per inch). Setting up DPI or the inch size for screen images makes little or no sense. And when an image is printed you can clearly see that the picture has a size in inches. How do pixels, DPI, and inches go together? An example: an image should be printed as 6x4.5 inch in 300 DPI resolution. What should be the size of the image in pixels? It is important that you need to set both values DPI and size. Mihov DPI to Pixel Calculator will suggest the size for your resizing, but you can choose your own. The program does not resize images, use Mihov Image Resizer to do that job.
