	Filter is intended for recovering quality of video ripped from DVD (for exmaple, when it contains 4 hours of video data), VideoCD or after decompressing by H.261, H.263, DivX 3, DivX 4, XviD. Filter automatically determines the blockiness's strength on the frame and in the concrete part of it, preserving the maximum of details. You have only to accept one of predefined presets. Thus, filter will process marginally when on scenes with slow motion, while it will smooth very hard in the case of fast motion in the same film. The main advantage of the filter is that it provides the boost of integral quality in the most widespread PSNR metric in comparison with the original film. That is, a film after decompression in comparison with original achieves the lower quality than a film after decompression and deblocking. 	Demolition Man is a multiplatform, run and gun action game based on the film of the same name, that takes the main character, John Spartan as he attempts to find and defeat his arch-nemesis, Simon Phoenix, who is the final boss of the game. Two different views are used within the game. Some stages are platform game type in side view, and include jumping and climbing, while other stages take an overhead Top-down shooter view; in all stages the player character can fire in eight directions. Stages are filled with many enemies, mostly gunmen, enemy characters and the player character can take a number of hits before dying; power ups can be found around the stages that increase the characters health or ammunition. The game gives the player limited continues and very few lives. There is only one stage of action in the year 1996 then it hops directly to the year 2032, and waters down the plot of the movie. This emasculation of the movie eliminates all of the comedic elements and turns the game into a straight action game with only minor witty comments like "avoid fatty foods" (as seen in the Super NES version of the game). 	Converging lines in photographs, particularly of buildings, forests and so on, can often detract from the desired effect. Architectural elements in photographs often have diagonal lines, but the mind thinks of buildings as having vertical and horizontal lines. Converging lines are caused by the film-plane being angled relative to the object of the photo, and that effect can be avoided optically by the use of either a shift lens (quite expensive) or the use of a medium or large-format view camera having swing features. With a shift lens, the lens itself is shifted perpendicularly to the z-axis, so that the film level can remain parallel to the subject. Shift lenses are mechanically and optically more complex than standard lenses, which is why they are comparatively expensive. Often, one is shooting with a "point and shoot" camera, where the option of changing lenses does not exist. The advent of digital photography or scanning existing photos from prints opens up new possibilities for manipulating the picture. Here is where ShiftN shows its strength. ShiftN permits correction of converging lines; a majority of the correction work is taken over automatically by the program. Using the "automatic correction" item in the menu is in most cases sufficient to produce a satisfying result. Both the effects of converging lines and poor camera angle are corrected automatically. The process in ShiftN is to search the image first for straight lines and edges, and to consider those which are sufficiently vertical to be likely architectural elements. On the basis of these straight line segments the program runs an optimization process that attempts to determine perspective, correcting the image so the lines are made parallel to each other.
