	The MZL & Novatech Traffic Statistics Linux Server is intended to run in servers in intranet or on a gateway and allows to view the Linux servers network usage information on Windows workstations as HTML reports. It reads IP packet from libpcap and allows users of the free Windows client to see the amount of bandwidth consumed as an icon in the system tray. The user is able to see which hosts, services or ports were the top traffic consumers. MZL & Novatech TrafficStatistic works on IP packet level, therefore the user gets reports on all the traffic, regardless wether this traffic was made by a browser, a filesharing software or a secure connection. It contains an editor for specification of local addresses and ports to be captured or not captured. This allows to capture traffic to a proxy or VPN but exclude the rest of local traffic. Windows simply marks the file's clusters as available for reuse, then marks that file's directory entry as deleted (from the directories available) by replacing the first character of the file's name with a special character. Now if those clusters don't get reused for another file, they are vulnerable and can be retrieved by those who know where and how to look for it.Adding one byte to the directory that was deleted will allow the retrieve of the entire file that has been deleted. This is used in most of the "Unerase" utilities functions. C source code for applying trained networks is provided, so users can use networks in their own applications. User-supplied txt-format training data files, containing rows of numbers, can be of any size. Example training data is also provided. Fast VB Graphics for network training error and cluster formation are included. Extensive help files are provided in the software. Numap7 is highly automated and requires very few parameter choices by the user. Advanced features include a fast MLP training algorithm (faster and better than BP and LM), input feature selection, pruning (elimination) of useless units (for MLP) and modules for PLN). Training and validation error are plotted versus network size. Utilities are provided for counting patterns, deleting columns, combining files, splitting files, calculating column mean and standard deviation, and plotting column histograms. Training data can be compressed using the discrete Karhunen-Loeve' transform (KLT). This freeware version of Numap7 limits the MLP to 10 hidden units and limits the PLN to 10 clusters. Upgradable to the commercial version, which lacks these limitations. The classification (decision making) version of this software, called Nuclass7, is also available.
