	Easy Shred is probably one of the smallest and most efficient programs available for shredding files on your PC. As most people know using the trash can to "trash" a file only removes its reference and it is very easy for the file to be recovered. There are many free deleted file recovery tools available. On the other hand Easy Shred uses a negative algorithm to overwrite your files and folders multiple times. The end result of this is a file that is extremely difficult / costly to have recovered and for all but the most determined of people permanently removed. Whilst some programs can identify the names of shredded files I've yet to find a program that could successfully recover the file data.
