ICE ECC is a file verification and repair tool. ICE ECC allows you to protect your important files and sensitive data against digital corruption using Reed-Solomon codes.
Did you know that a typical CD-R/DVD-R disk can hold its data intact for only a few years? ICE ECC is the perfect solution to this problem - before you store your data, protect it against corruption with ICE ECC.
ICE ECC is easy to use. To protect a file against corruption, just select the file/files/directories with the program by navigating the explorer-style window and click Create. This creates recovery file/files of the original files. You can easily control the size and number of the recovery files.
When you want to verify whether the file has been modified or if the data in it has been corrupted, just select the appropriate .ecc file and click Verify. ICE ECC will then do a full analysis of the file and let you know if it has been corrupted, in that case ICE ECC will automatically recover it for you.

Free command line utility for file multi-checksum generation and verification. It allows to create/verify popular file hashes/checksums: MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2(256,384,512), RIPEMD-160, PANAMA, TIGER, CRC-32, ADLER32, and the message digest used in eMule/eDonkey (ed2k) software. Its most common use is checking files for corruption (data integrity checking). A hash/checksum calculation might be performed on data before transferring (downloading/uploading) it from one location to another. Making the same calculation after the transfer (download/upload) and comparing the former and latter results, you can check if the received data is corrupted or not. FSUM notifies about any bad, incorrect, missing file. It is a very fast, easy to use tool. Allows to recurse directories. Works with large size files. Bar Graph MDI is a GRML, CSV, and text delimited file and web browser. It displays files and web pages using 6 graphs. There are bar, pie, stacked bar, 3D bar, 3D pie, and 3D stacked bar graphs. Each has a legend, color-coding and measurement labels.
The browser has an address bar and supports multiple browser windows. Each browser window supports input controls and displays a graph. To select a graph, there is a graph toolbar with buttons representing each type of graph. When a file or web page is loaded, press a button on this toolbar to create a graph of the content.
Browser windows reside in the workspace. The workspace explorer allows navigation of browser windows in the workspace. The details window shows details about files and web pages. The history window loads and saves file and web page requests. Any file or web page request sent using the address bar appears here.
The legend window shows the color-coding for graph items. Each graph supports a maximum of 50 items.
GRML supports input controls. GRML, CSV, and text delimited files and web pages support columns and results. The columns and results support a view. This allows different graphs to be used on the same columns and results. It allows CSV and text delimited formats to create the different graphs.

Pioneer Report MDI is a GRML, CSV, and text delimited file and web browser. It reads files from local filesystems and web pages from websites. GRML, General Reuse Markup Language, supports input controls for a form, (hyper-)links, images, and text. Use a form to send web requests. There are four file and web displays, Report, Horizontal List, Vertical List, and Thumbnail. Each displays allows editing, tooltips, cut/copy/paste, and saving.
GRML is a data-oriented format. It contrasts formats such as HTML or PDF, which are display-oriented. Other data-oriented formats include CSV or XML. They describe data content, rather how it is displayed.

GSplit is a free original file splitter that lets you split your large files (like compressed archives, multimedia, song, music, movie, backup, Zip, picture, log, large text and document files...) into a set of smaller files called pieces. These pieces are easier to copy or backup to floppies, CD, DVD, USB or any disk; to send by email or upload with file hosting services (forget size restrictions!); to share with friends, colleagues or to distribute to other users through networks and the Internet.
In addition to the features of other standard file splitters, GSplit can:
- create two types of pieces: disk spanned and blocked (specific size). Either enter the size for each piece file, the number of pieces to create or the number of lines / occurrences of a pattern by piece.
- generate small Self-Uniting programs (.exe) so anyone without GSplit can assemble pieces and restore the original file. The appearance and functionality of these programs can be customized.
- split very large files (bigger than 4 GB) or small files (less than 100 kb).
- restore file properties: file date, attributes are not lost.
- perform fast checks to detect file corruption (size, offset, CRC32) and to assure that files are successfully restored by users.
- customize piece files according to your needs (size, filenames, title, author...), leave additional space on disks...
- split large text and similar files like huge server log files by number of lines or occurrences of a specified pattern.
- support splitting multiple files in one time, work with batch (automating) and command line options.
