	Freeware for fast training, validation, and application of regression/approximation networks including the multilayer perceptron (MLP), functional link network, piecewise linear network, self organizing map (SOM) and K-Means clustering. C source code for applying trained networks is provided, so users can use networks in their own applications. User-supplied txt-format training data files, containing rows of numbers, can be of any size. Example training data is also provided. Fast VB Graphics for network training error and cluster formation are included. Extensive help files are provided in the software. Numap7 is highly automated and requires very few parameter choices by the user. Advanced features include a fast MLP training algorithm (faster and better than BP and LM), input feature selection, pruning (elimination) of useless units (for MLP) and modules for PLN). Training and validation error are plotted versus network size. Utilities are provided for counting patterns, deleting columns, combining files, splitting files, calculating column mean and standard deviation, and plotting column histograms. Training data can be compressed using the discrete Karhunen-Loeve' transform (KLT). This freeware version of Numap7 limits the MLP to 10 hidden units and limits the PLN to 10 clusters. Upgradable to the commercial version, which lacks these limitations. The classification (decision making) version of this software, called Nuclass7, is also available. 	A Low carb Calculator to find unlisted carbs based on a food products nurtrition label. This calculator will tell you if there are any uncounted Carbohydrate grams on the food label. It works by using the formula Calories = (Fat X 9) + (Carbohydrate X 4) + (Protein X 4) . Note that this formula is not perfectly exact, but an approximation. The program takes the difference between the stated calories and actual calories and divides by 4 to yield grams, and then adds that to the Carbohydrate grams listed on the label. 	This document conversion program allow batch conversion of documents using the converters included in Microsoft Word 7.0 or higher or an external program of your choice. Both the input and output format are selectable The use of WordConvs with an external converter program can be useful when the conversion program has not batch capability or don't allow to scan subdirectories or/and to process hidden files, as WordConvs has these capabilities. It is useful also when the converter has not an included mechanism to test the completeness of the conversion. Some converters in case of errors in input file truncate the conversion without any kind of indication. In case of processing of a large number of file this can be dangerous as you believe that the results are good whereas you can have as result truncated documents (only partially converted). To test, also if not in a secure way, this case, a program has been inserted which count the words, lines, and characters of the input document. As MsWord has internally the possibility to count them in the output document, it is possible to compare these counters. The input file counters are only an row approximation as only managing the formatting of the input document it is possible to have a good count. A program included in the setup counts words, lines and characters with a variable level of accuracy of the result, depending on the format of the document. For this reason the possibility to set the threshold of percent difference that give rise to a warning message, has been inserted, as well as the possibility to choose which of the 3 available counters to use. 	The physic of the real world can be formulated into mathematical form using differential equations. Differential equation and systems of differential equations are the natural language trough we can describe any real devices like electronic circuit, automatic controls, elettro-magnetic wave emission or any other engineering problems. The purpose of OpenDDPT project is to build a software that can aids people to build automatically these control devices. The strategy used by this software is based on the concept that differential equations generally are parameters dependent so we can found optimal control parameters using an optimization template. The optimization tool-box used by OpenDDPT is an innovative non-convex second-order method that replaces the hessian structure (the hessian matrix has heavy memory storage and an expensive computational-cost) with directional-derivatives , reducing the second order information computational cost of one order without approximation.Control's local informations (i.e. gradient and it's directional derivate) are found trough an extended form of the back-propagation rule used for neural-network and that new extended form can perform not only weighted-sum and sigmoidal saturations but also multiplication ,addition, time-delay and any non-linearity and it can be used as a generic expression for realizing any non linear discrete time control device.
